Event description
The Sharjah Amateur Tour, stage road cycling race for teams will be held on 24th, 25th, 26th and 27th of January 2018, in parallel with the "Sharjah Tour" for the professional riders.
This team race (no individuals) has 4 stages:
- Stage 1: Individual time trial - 10.2KM.
- Stage 2: flat stage - 70KM.
- Stage 3: 4 laps climb stage - 4.5km each lap.
- Stage 4: 5 laps of 6.7KM each lap.
The race is open for the UAE national and expatriate teams. Riders must have a UAE Cycling Federation license and UAE residency.
Team must be formed of minimum 4 and maximum of 5 riders per team, a team manager, and a mechanic.
