Event description
Due to overwhelming demand and popularity of the upcoming race, we have made some exciting changes in the Race Format.
We’ve switched to an exciting Criterium Race format for Saturday, 19 October 2024!
The response for the race has been so high that we would like to make sure you 100% joining for the event and if not, no problem, BUT please do pull out from the event in advance and allow us to allocate your slot to another rider.
Simply drop us an email and let us know so we can welcome in another rider.
Here’s the updated race structure:
Event Details
Course Recon Ride: 6:00 am – 6:15 am
First Group Start: 6:30 am sharp!
Group start times will be sent before the event.
Hydrate! It will get hot later, so bring enough water.
Important: Make sure to review the Riders Guide carefully before race day (this will be sent out later today)
New Criterium Race Format & Group Breakdown
Each group race will be around 15 minutes (4 laps x 900m).
Male Races
Round 1: Top 3 riders from each group advance (Start).
Round 2: Top 5 riders from each group advance (Quarter-Finals).
Round 3: Top 5 riders from each group advance (Semi-Finals).
Round 4: Top 3 riders compete in the Final.
Female Races
Round 1: Top 5 riders from each group advance (Start).
Round 2: Top 3 riders from each group compete in the Final.
