REGION’S LEADING CYCLING RACE DEDICATED TO WOMEN

The DP World Women’s Cycling Challenge will be held on 7th October 2023 on the Al Qudra Cycle Track in Al Marmoom Desert Conservation Reserve.

This highly popular event is organized under the umbrella of Dubai Sports Council Women Sports Committee, and in association with Dubai Municipality, RTA and Dubai Police.

DP World Women’s Cycling Challenge is for women of all cycling abilities, from elite experienced riders to recreational cyclists and novices.

It’s a fun as well as competitive event with the route taking riders through the beautiful Al Marmoom Desert Conservation Reserve on its world-class cycle track.

Participants will enjoy the beautiful desert landscape passing with a chance of spotting rare and protected wildlife.

The event is dedicated to promoting female health and wellness as well as promoting the sport of female cycling.
Trophies and prizes will be awarded to the top 3 rankings in each race category and all participants will receive finisher medals.

Registration close: Thu. 5 Oct. 2023 11:00 or sooner if the event is fully-booked.
Participation: Individual athletes
Included: Entry to DP World Women's Cycling Challenge 2023. Timing chips and bibs. Trophies for the top 3 rankings in all categories. Goodies/Product by sponsors. Finisher medals. Hydration. Refreshment.
Refund policy: Fees are non-refundable.

If the athlete is unable to participate on race day due to any reason:
- the athlete can get a refund of the race entry up to 7 days before the event (subject to a 10% administration fee); or
- the athlete can transfer the race entry to a fellow athlete before the registration closing date (subject to terms of service and subject to the prevailing registration fee on the day of transfer)

Furthermore, this event is subject to refunds as follows:
- for refunds related to cancelled events, we will contact you and issue a refund automatically.
- for refunds related to rescheduled events, we will contact you with the new date and time ASAP. In case you can't make the event, refunds will be done upon request.
- store purchases are excluded from refunds.
- all refunds are subject to a 10% administration fee.

Participants are advised to arrive at least one hour before the race starts

Difficulty: Moderate
Support stations: The route will have checkpoints along the course and will offer hydration and medical assistance.
Highlights: The route will have checkpoints and will offer hydration and medical assistance. There will be a medical team at the Riders Village as well as first aid and safety officers at each check point as well as first responders available along the route. The health and safety of the participants is paramount.

All participants will be required to agree to the terms and conditions of DP World Women's Cycling Challenge in order to participate.
Waivers must be agreed online to complete the registration process.
All team members must register individually within the same race distance and mention team name during registration process.
Each member of a team will pay their individual entry fee.
Top 3 finishers in each team will be ranked.
There will be NO registrations on the race day.
No refunds for participants who do not take part in the event for whatever reason.
Transfer of race entries to another party is STRICTLY prohibited.
