The JW Marriott Marquis Dubai team are pleased to announce the ‘Cruise the Canal’ event, part of the Road to Awareness ‘Walk the City’ initiative, which will take place on Saturday, 26th October 2019 at 14:00.

Marriott have partnered with the Al Jalila Foundation and other charities to raise awareness and funds for this year’s R2A campaign. It is part of a collective of charitable walks and runs occurring across different areas of Dubai and takes place on the second weekend of the Dubai Fitness Challenge.

We would like to invite all Marriott properties in the Downtown/Business Bay and surrounding areas to be a part of this walk for this great charitable cause. We do hope that our Marriott colleagues and their families can join us to bring the Business Bay/Downtown and surrounding area communities together!

Our GOAL for this walk is 600 associates. All funds raised this year will be donated to Al Jalila Foundation for Medical Education and Research, an initiative to engage society, spread awareness, educate and support social causes in the UAE.

The ‘Cruise the Canal’ 10km walking event will start and finish from Café Artois (canal side), JW Marriott Marquis. It will be a 10km circular route that can be enjoyed by all, including kids and families.
