Event description
The Canada Week in Dubai 2025 is a charitable celebration honouring Canada and the vibrant community of 40,000 Canadians living in the UAE, alongside other hockey enthusiasts in the region.
The event also commemorates two milestones: the 20th anniversary of Canada Week and the 15th anniversary of Canada’s gold medal victories in men’s and women’s hockey at the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics.
Scheduled for March 4-9, 2025, Canada Week will take place across Dubai and the Northern Emirates, with events thoughtfully planned to align with the holy month of Ramadan.
The Sporting Highlights of Canada Week include:
- Hockey games and clinics featuring legendary NHL players
- A golf day
Furthermore, other activities of Canada Week include:
- Showcases of Canadian culture and entertainment,
- A memorable Iftar dinner followed by a Gala Reception, and much more.

The proceeds from Canada Week are being raised in Terry Fox’s name to support cancer research at the Al Jalila Foundation.

- Refund policy
- Fees are non-refundable.If the athlete is unable to participate on race day due to any reason:
- the athlete can get a refund of the race entry up to 7 days before the event (subject to a 25% administration fee); or
- the athlete can transfer the race entry to a fellow athlete before the registration closing date (subject to terms of service and subject to the prevailing registration fee on the day of transfer)
Furthermore, this event is subject to refunds as follows:
- for refunds related to cancelled events, we will contact you and issue a refund automatically.
- for refunds related to rescheduled events, we will contact you with the new date and time ASAP. In case you can't make the event, refunds will be done upon request.
- all refunds are subject to a 25% administration fee.
