Event description
The C1 Championship, established in October 2021, is the birthplace of women in camel sports.
With the upcoming season, the racing series is entering its 3rd year of competition.
Organized and hosted by Arabian Desert Camel Riding Center (ADCRC), the racing series is primarily based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, but has made global news.
Each race is 1.5km long and has up to 15 jockeys participating per race.
In each competition, points are awarded based on the order of crossing the finish line.
C1 Championship honors the rich heritage of camel racing, by sharing it with a larger, more diverse audience, promoting rules and regulations with transparency and fairness at their core.
The races are part of a movement that inspires women to step forward, embrace their capabilities, and become trailblazers in the sporting arena, and mostly have fun.
