The Aral Sea Eco Marathon is a unique marathon that takes place on the dried seabed of the Aral Sea, making it one of the most extreme and isolated marathons in the world.
This year, the event is open to the general public and is dedicated to the World Day to Combat Desertification and Drought.
The goal of the marathon is to draw attention to the environmental disaster in the Aral Sea region and the need for responsible water resource management.

- Accommodation in a yurt camp | Transportation by jeep from the city of Nukus to the yurt camp and back (approximately 2 hours, similar to a safari). A challenging route on sand and gravel along the remaining water of the Aral Sea Each participant will receive a t-shirt, long-sleeve, finisher t-shirt, and a medal at the finish.
