Event description
In collaboration with Dubai Roadsters, this unique, non-competitive cycle challenge takes you east from the spectacular city of Dubai, through the stunning Hajar Mountains across to the east coast of Kalba, Sharjah and then north all the way to Fujairah and your final destination, Le Meridien Al Aqah – the route stretches 220km with approx 1300m of elevation along smooth tarmac roads, winding through dunes, over mountain climbs and along the beautiful east coast highway to the finish.

International participants

We welcome overseas participants to enjoy the beauty of the UAE by riding the Coast to Coast Cycle Challenge. We have a number of special rates for hotel stays and can include sightseeing excursions as well as bike rides with local groups or private tours during your stay for an additional cost. Please email [email protected] with your requirements or for more details.

Due to the very recent new laws implemented by DTCM (Dubai Tourism), we will be re-locating the race start to a new venue. The exact location and map will be available shortly, however, please note the start will NOT be departing from Meydan as originally advertised.
The race start will be equally as convenient, easy to access and offer the same challenging and exciting route of a similar distance for you to ride - in fact this might very well prove to be a much more exciting start than we planned!

Note: Additional buffet tickets may be purchased for family and friends for AED 200 pp, BBQ Buffet includes food and soft drinks only. Alcoholic drinks are not included in the ticket price but can be purchased separately at the venue. (Please note that riders registering BEFORE 8th September 2016 will receive their jersey in time for the ride. Riders registering after this date will have to wait approx. 6 weeks after the ride date for their jersey delivery).
