Event description
As part of the Spinneys Dubai 92 Cycle Challenge Weekend, the popular Junior Rides are back on Saturday 18 February 2023! This is a great opportunity for the younger ones to test their abilities and have some fun at the same time.
These fun, non-timed rides are designed for ages 2 to 12 years old, and will be held at the Dubai Sports City on a closed track. The rides on offer are:
1km Tiny Tots - For ages 2-3 years (Start time tbc)
2km Kids - For ages 4-5 years (Start time tbc)
4.5km Junior Short - For ages 6-7, 8-9, 10-11 years (Start times tbc)
9km Junior Long - For ages 9-10, 11-12 years (Start times tbc)
Dress Code: All children are encouraged to dress up and bedazzle their ride (parents / guardians / family are welcome to dress up and bedazzle their rides too!). Parents / guardians should come prepared and wear flat, comfortable running shoes.
Co-pilots are compulsory for the 1km Tiny Tots and optional for the 2km Kids. the race packs for these categories will include the co-pilot ID. Co-pilots are not allowed in the 4.5km and 9km rides.
If the athlete is unable to participate on race day due to any reason:
- the athlete can get a refund of the race entry up to 7 days before the event (subject to a 10% administration fee); or
- the athlete can transfer the race entry to a fellow athlete before the registration closing date (subject to terms of service and subject to the prevailing registration fee on the day of transfer)
Furthermore, this event is subject to refunds as follows:
- for refunds related to cancelled events, we will contact you and issue a refund automatically.
- for refunds related to rescheduled events, we will contact you with the new date and time ASAP. In case you can't make the event, refunds will be done upon request.
- Store purchases are excluded from refunds.
- All refunds are subject to a 10% administration fee.

- Race Pack Collection will take place at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, on Saturday 18 February. Please allow enough time (at least 1h30 before your ride) to collect your rider ID pack and apply the rider ID to your child and his/her cycling equipment.
