Event description
The emirate of Ajman will host its inaugural cycling competition, RIDE AJMAN on 22 April managed and organized by Ajman Tourism Development Department. In partnership with the Fairmont Ajman and Ajman Bank RIDE AJMAN will see over 200 cyclists take to the roads of Ajman and take part in the 90km event.
Alongside the main ride there will also be a 7km charity fun ride for families and friends of the participants and other cycling enthusiasts.
All participants will be able to enjoy complimentary breakfast after the Awards Ceremony at the Fairmont Ajman Hotel. Trophies and medals will be given to the first, second and third place winners for men and women.
Please note that the Ajman Fairmont is offering a special rate for all participants in the Ride Ajman on the race weekend. The Ajman Fairmont is offering a rate of AED 650 per room, in a Fairmont View which includes breakfast for up to 2 people, with service charge and tourism fee included. Promo code is PAJM.
And for all those cyclists who wish to register, but do not have a bike, bike & helmet rental options are part of the registration process. Alternatively, you can also call Keith or Angelique from Revolution Cycles on +971 (0)4 3697441.

A wrist band will be provided with each registration and it is important that every rider wears their wrist band to have access to the ride, collect the goody bags and enjoy the breakfast, courtesy of the Fairmont Ajman.
Please remember ‘No wristband, No Helmet, NO RIDE’.
Distance; 90 km.The Ajman Race is set on 2x 45 km loops through the friendly Emirate of Ajman.
The roads will be secured by The Ajman Police via closure on the 45km loop. The roads will open once the last rider passes.
CUT OFF Times:
- FIRST CUT OFF; After the 1st loop of 45 km, there will be a cut off which will be 10 minutes after the First Elite women riders have ridden through the arch . All riders after that will be stopped and receive a medal for the successful conclusion of 45 km.
- SECOND CUT OFF; a secondary Cut off point will be in place at the halfway point of the SECOND loop at the Al Tallah Camel Race Course. When advised by the Ajman Police that the group is now too far spread after the 1st cutoff, we will gather all the riders in one group and ride back in a controlled bunch to the Finish line at the Fairmount Ajman.
- Safety is paramount to the Ajman Tourism Department and all Sponsors and Partner who want you to enjoy the Ajman Ride to the fullest and safest manner
- Any riders that are deemed to unable to be finish the event will be requested to get into the numerous support cars.
