Get ready...It's here! The first official group supported Everesting challenge attempt in the UAE.

Everesting is an international challenge that involves cycling the equivalent elevation of Mt Everest (or half) in one event. Information can be found on the official Everesting website

The target:
Half Everesting: 4424m ascent, approx 80km uphill climbing
Full Everesting: 8848m elevation, approx 160km uphill climbing

For this challenge, the ride will be done on a select segment of Jebel Jais - chosen for its optimum elevation gain. Basecamp will provide you with all of your water, mechanical and medical support and our support drivers will be with you on the mountain as you undertake one of the most brutal but rewarding cycling challenges.

Starting schedule:
The below event details are subject to minor changes but will provide a demonstrative outline of the event:

10.30 am - Rider arrival and set up
11.00 am - Briefing and bike checks
11.30 am - First climb

All riders will climb at their own pace, with support cars responsive to all their needs. Support cars and all event infrastructure will remain until the last rider has finished (for both the Full Everest and Half Everest attempts).

Parking will be available at Base Camp as well as space for friends and family to wait and support.

*Other ad-hoc and unofficial training rides will be organised within the participant's group.
