Event description
C1 Championship is a 7 race series in which female camel jockeys compete over a 1200m flat race against each other. In each race, the participants collect points based on the order of crossing the line. Whoever has the most points after the 7th race is declared winner of the Season 2021/2022 C1 Championship.
Jockeys: missed the last races? No problem. You can still join the upcoming events, provided you have obtained the jockey license issued by the Dubai Camel Racing Club, following the training and preparation at ADCRC. Requirements are to pass the riding and racing test and pay an AED500 fee to the DCRC (contact: [email protected])
There are no charges to sign up for the races.
Camels: the camels are provided by ADCRC for race participation. However, should you have a camel available yourself, it is possible to bring it to the race provided there is proof the animal is suitable for this type of competition and event.
Spectators: (No need to register) we encourage spectators to come and witness the races as well as visit the race village, with food stands, arts and other stands as well as music and kids activities. The event is free of charge.
