This event begins from the coastal Sharjah lagoons, through the stunning Hajar Mountains across to the east coast – the route stretches 100 miles (165km) with approx 1300m of elevation along smooth tarmac roads, winding through dunes, over mountain climbs and along the beautiful east coast to the stunning finish line backdrop of the Khorfakkan Amphitheatre and the Oceanic Khorfakkan Resort & Spa for the BBQ celebration.

There is no Abridged ride for this event. All riders will ride from the start to the finish at Khorfakkan Amphitheatre.

Your entry price includes a fully supported ride, event bag, bandana, finisher’s medal, and a celebration buffet with soft drinks on the private grounds of the hotel. Should you wish to have friends or family join us at the BBQ (Don’t leave it too late, these sell out quickly!), please purchase additional BBQ Buffet tickets in the ‘Store’ on the registration site. To reiterate – as part of the entry fee, YOUR BBQ ticket is INCLUDED. If your family or friends want to join you, they must purchase ADDITIONAL tickets from the STORE.

You also have the option to purchase a return bus trip with your bike, back to Sharjah. You will find this option upon registration at an extra cost in the STORE.

CUT-OFF and CP TIMINGS (165km)
Timings are crucial for us to clear the roads as instructed by authorities permitting us to use the roads, so riders are asked to reach the finish in no more than 6hrs 15mins (165km) which is a minimum of approx 27kph average speed. Riders struggling to keep with their assigned pod may drop back to the next pod should they find the speed too fast or mountains they are too slow. Should you not be able to keep up with the last pod, you will be asked to take a rest in the sweeper bus – you may be able to rejoin your original pod, or a slower one depending on timing of the sweeper bus (Time dependent).

** IMPORTANT: Intermediate timings will be in place for each checkpoint. These timings are based on riding at the minimum average of approx 27kph. As you are aware, this does not mean that riding at this speed will meet the timings, as elevation changes mean that you must ride at above this speed to average out your overall ride and including time spent at feed stations.

If you do not meet the cut-off timings at the checkpoints, you will be asked to board the sweeper bus with your bike and depending on timings and where you are picked up, either dropped further along the route to pick up the ride again, or taken to the finish. This decision is not negotiable and at the discretion of the Event Director.

2. THE C2C RIDE WITH RETURN TRANSPORT: You can also buy the ride with all the above including a return bus and transport for your bike.
3. FRIENDS & FAMILY: Additional BBQ tickets for friends and family can be purchased only up to the registration closing date. These tickets are NOT available on the day. Buy additional tickets along with your ride option from the registration site STORE.
** All participants/guests eligible for BBQ will be issued a wristband on entering the BBQ area. BBQ access is not permitted without your wristband.
