Are you looking to stay active during Ramadan? Join the 5KM Iftar Challenge at the Dubai Autodrome.
Race two full laps of the floodlit Dubai Autodrome racetrack after sunset and you could be an age-group winner, grabbing one of our awesome prizes.
The Iftar Challenge is hosted by Dubai’s oldest and friendliest running club, the Desert Road Runners. Organised since, 1998, the Iftar Challenge remains as friendly, welcoming and popular as ever, making it a firm favourite on the Dubai running calendar each and every year.
If you are unable to compete, contribute your time and support the event by registering as a volunteering marshal, time-keeper, or manning the registration desk and hydration stations.

Desert Road Runners & The Running League club members receive a 25% registration fee discount and ALL Junior runners are granted complimentary registration.

- Fees are non-refundable.If the athlete is unable to participate on race day due to any reason:
- the athlete can get a refund of the race entry up to 7 days before the event (subject to a 10% administration fee); or
- the athlete can transfer the race entry to a fellow athlete before the registration closing date (subject to terms of service and subject to the prevailing registration fee on the day of transfer)
Furthermore, this event is subject to refunds as follows:
- for refunds related to cancelled events, we will contact you and issue a refund automatically.
- for refunds related to rescheduled events, we will contact you with the new date and time ASAP. In case you can't make the event, refunds will be done upon request.
