Event description

This fourth edition of the ultra-trail race will take place in the very heart of Cambodia’s archeological site, ranked as a World Heritage by UNESCO.

Ultra distance breathtaking races in exceptional surroundings. Runners will cross several wonderful temples sites, evolving through impressive landscapes over a vast area where rice fields, jungles, villages offer panoramas of surprising diversity.

The new routes, crossing varied numerous temples and villages, from narrow paths through dense vegetation, jungle, rice fields (sometimes with water up to the knee) and sandy tracks, have spiced up the 3rd edition of the Angkor Ultra Trail. The several testimonies we received after this race have inspired us to continue.

The Ultra-Trail Angkor, Bayon Trail Angkor, Angkor Marathon Trail and Jungle Trail Angkor races are qualifying race for the UTMB.

Practical info

Races: Race information
Race pack collection: The bibs and chip will be provided on Thursday, January 17th (from 10 am to 7 pm) and Friday, January 18th 2018 (from 9 am until 6 pm for UTA 128). The place to take the bib number will be later communicated with the participants.
Transport to start: For Jungle Trail 32km shuttle from Base Camp Elephant Terrace 7:30am (Official Departure at 8:30am)

For Temple Run & Nordic Walk 16km shuttle from Elephant Terrace at 9:00am (Official Departure at 9:30am)

Difficulty: Moderate
Support stations: Water station for every 5-10km. Hot meal stations for 128 & 64 km races
Highlights: All the events will be held on a single day with staggered schedules. The running of the competition is planned: On Saturday, 19 January at 4.00* am for the Ultra Trail of Angkor, 128 Km (UTA 128) On Saturday, 19 January at 4.00* am for the Angkor Bayo
