THE RACE IS ON - Dubai’s most popular mass-participation cycling race is back in 2022-23 season. Save the date in your diaries for the Spinney’s Dubai 92 Cycle Challenge 2023 as 18-19 February 2023.
The Spinneys Dubai 92 Cycle Challenge is one of the Middle East’s premium sporting races, regularly attracting thousands of riders from all over the world. The event celebrated its 12th anniversary in 2022 with over 1,600 cyclists taking part in the Build-Up Rides and a sell-out field in the final race.
BUILD UP RIDE 2 - Beat the lockdown blues, get back on the saddle and prepare for the Spinney’s Dubai 92 Cycle Challenge with the second of four Build-Up Rides. These Build-Up Rides will help you build your cycle endurance to pave the way for your 92km Cycle Challenge in late February 2023. View & download the BUR2 route.
This second Build-Up Ride is 45km, a perfect starting distance to work the kinks out of your lock-down body, and will help you plan your training schedule.
The four Build-Up Rides leading up to the Main Event in February 2023 are scheduled as follows, but may be subject to change:
- Build-Up Ride 1 - 25 September 2022 (35km)
- Build-Up Ride 2 - 30 October 2022 (45km)
- Build-Up Ride 3 - 20 November 2022 (65km)
- Build-Up Ride 4 - 22 January 2023 (85km)
COVID19 FRIENDLY ENVIRONMENT - All events will be held in a Covid19 friendly environment to assure the safety and wellbeing of all participants of the Spinneys Dubai 92 Cycle Challenge. More details will be shared closer to each event with specific COVID19 Protocol instructions for participants.

- Fees are non-refundable.All entry fees are non-refundable and at the discretion of the event organiser.
If the athlete is unable to participate on race day due to any reason:
- the athlete can get a refund of the race entry up to 7 days before the event (subject to a 10% administration fee); or
- the athlete can transfer the race entry to a fellow athlete before the registration closing date (subject to terms of service and subject to the prevailing registration fee on the day of transfer)
Furthermore, this event is subject to refunds as follows:
- for refunds related to cancelled events, we will contact you and issue a refund automatically.
- for refunds related to rescheduled events, we will contact you with the new date and time ASAP. In case you can't make the event, refunds will be done upon request.
- Store purchases are excluded from refunds.
- All refunds are subject to a 10% administration fee.
