Càritas Diocesana de Barcelona is the charitable and social action of the Church of Barcelona.
The mission of Cáritas de Barcelona, as a social action, is to promote the integral development of all people, especially those who are in situations of poverty and social exclusion, so that anyone can live with full dignity.

The realization of this mission is concrete through social action, raising awareness in society and denouncing situations of social injustice.

Almeda supported flats

The Almeda Supported Flats project was created to address the needs of independent seniors who find themselves in situations of extreme vulnerability and residential exclusion. These seniors are over 65 years of age, with little or no family or social support, and with low incomes that make it impossible for them to access decent housing.
This project aims to provide a decent home for these individuals who retain their capacity for independence but are excluded from the system.

We will ensure that the charitable foundation receives your donation, along with a clear instruction about your choice of charity. This will ensure that your generosity finds the right target.

Can I see an overview of charity donations?

Yes, of course. On our website you will be able to see the amounts raised for each charitable cause. If you are a registered Hopasports member, you can also view a list of your personal donations on a cool blue thermometer, which is actually a fundraising chart.
