Event description
Cycle all Seven Emirates in under 24 hours? Are you up to the challenge?
Our 305km route takes you along secondary roads and some of the most scenic routes in the UAE, passing through all seven Emirates. This is a full day challenge, starting early in the morning and finishing early evening. There will be regular stops for refuelling and water as well as lunch at the halfway point.
What we provide:
- Support vehicle with space for (small) personal day packs
- Coolers and water for the duration of the event
- Lunch*
- 1 x Lead rider
Participant requirements:
- Have a minimum of 6 months of cycling experience
- Be able to cycle comfortably over a speed of 25km per hour
- Own or have access to the appropriate road cycling and safety gear*
- Be over 18 years of age
- Be injury-free and fit to cycle before the event
All participants are expected to bring their own energy snacks and fuel, according to their preferences. This ride will require a lot of calories! We will provide advice and guidance on nutrition and food suggestions. All supplies will be carried in the support truck, which will stay with the riders at all times.
The need-to-knows:
This challenge is undertaken with a group maximum of 20 people. This is to ensure group safety, and support for all the riders. Participants are grouped according to average speed. But this is an adventure - not a race. Cycling 100km is very different to cycling 300km and all participants will need to ensure that they pace themselves and work as a team to complete the route. In return, we can promise you amazing views (maybe even a camel or two) and an adventure you will never forget!
Route: The full route will be provided via GPX file 1 week prior to the event and after our final checks. An approximation of the route will be provided in our preparation call. This is a circular route that will start and finish in the same location. The starting point will have free car parking spaces for the duration of the challenge.
Start time: the start time will be confirmed 1 week prior to the event - but prepare for an early one!
