Event description
Ready for a two challenge? 400 kilometres over 2 days with an overnight stay in rural UAE
Join our 400km route that crosses all seven Emirates. Relax and unwind in the evening with food and a good company.
What we provide:
- 2 x Lead riders
- Support vehicles with space for day packs and overnight belongings
- Coolers and water for the duration of the event
- Accommodation for the evening of the 27th March
- Day 1 lunch and evening meal
- Day 2 breakfast and lunch
All riders must come equipped with:
- Road bike (tri-bikes not allowed) and appropriate safety gear*
- Comfortable and appropriate cycling clothing
- Preferred energy snacks
Overnight kit supplies that includes:
- Sleeping bag and towel
- Personal hygiene kit
- Additional layers for evening weather (weather dependant)
Participant requirements:
- Have a minimum of 6 months cycling experience Be able to cycle comfortably over a speed of 25km per hour
- Own or have access to the appropriate road cycling and safety gear
- Be over 18 years of age Be injury-free and fit to cycle prior to the event
- Prices are based on single-room occupancy.
The need-to-knows:
This challenge is undertaken with a group maximum of 20 people. This is to ensure group safety, and support for all the riders.
Route: The full route will be provided via GPX file 1 week prior to the event and after our final checks. An approximation of the route will be provided in our preparation call. This is a circular route that will start and finish in the same location. The starting point will have free car parking spaces for the duration of the challenge.
Start time: the start time will be confirmed 1 week prior to the event - but prepare for an early one!
