Event description

Are you ready to rise to the Triathlon challenge? In 2014, GEMS Education invited students, parents, teaching and non-teaching staff from schools and universities across the Emirates to register and participate in the first ever GEMS Triathlon. The response was overwhelming and the success of the event fuelled the demand for an encore. We are very pleased to announce the 2nd edition of the GEMS Triathlon on 30th January, 2016.

We would like this to be a family event, and have planned for everyone, with each race category having its own age appropriate swim, bike, and run distances around the purpose-designed and beautiful premises of the GEMS Modern Academy in the Nad Al Sheba area of Dubai. There will be participating medals for all those who finish and Bronze, Silver, and Gold podium recognition for every male and female age category.

So, shake the dust off your swimming goggles, grease your bike chains, inflate the tires and put on your running shoes for this cool sports event ... excitement beckons!

The course has been designed as follows:
Swim: 25M laps in the school swimming pool.
Bike: 2KM laps on closed public road in front of the school.
Run: 2KM laps on the school premisses.
