Event description
Welcome to the inaugural edition of the DAMAC Ramadan Sports Festival, a fun-filled sports festival during the Holy month of Ramadan allowing people to participate in various sports events after Iftar.
The festival will take place at DAMAC Akoya and each week there are different sports games hosted.
In week 4 of Ramadan on 06.05.2021 the Duathlon event will take place (subject to Authorities'' approval).
RACE CATEGORIES:
- Open (5.0km Run / 19km Bike / 2.5km Run) | 18-99 yrs old
- Emirati (5.0km Run / 19km Bike / 2.5km Run) | 18-99 yrs old
PRIZES (Total Prize Pot 22,000.00AED):
- Adults| 1st place – 4,000.00AED | 2nd place – 2,000.00AED | 3rd Place – 1,000.00AED (both male and female)
- Adults (Emirati Only) | 1st place – 2,500.00AED | 2nd place – 1,000.00AED | 3rd Place – 500.00AED (both male and female)

- Athletes have the option to protect fees for unforeseen and outside of control cancellations.Online payments related to cancelled and rescheduled events; e.g. registrations, donations and purchases are outlined and governed by the Terms of Service and Returns & Refunds policies.
These payments are non-refundable and at the discretion of the event organiser.
The current extraordinary circumstances are beyond control of athletes and organisers. Therefore this event is subject to refunds as follows:
- For refunds related to cancelled events, we will contact you and issue a refund automatically.
- For refunds related to rescheduled events, we will contact you with the new date and time ASAP. In case you can't make the event, refunds will be done upon request.
- Store purchases are excluded from refunds.
- All refunds are subject to a 15% administration fee.
